about:

principal.Sacre is "high culture in street art format", meaning that artistic dance, which otherwise only takes place behind the walls of theatres, is made accessible to anyone and everyone free of charge in urban spaces.

The international SETanz ensemble, consisting of six dancers, together with choreographer Sebastian Eilers, composer Daniel Karanitsch, costume designer Karin Schneider and object artist Jörg Brombacher, transports a 15-minute adaptation of Igor Stravinsky's work "Sacre du Printemps" into the urban space under the open sky.

The costumes reflect the geometric shapes of the mobile stage elements and transport them into a three-dimensional space. The individual movements of each dancer create constantly changing aesthetic forms that play with the aspects of dominance and protection. Power is understood as a social construct that is subject to iternal change and is constantly renegotiated in the course of the ballet piece.

Ensemble: Blanka Boldizsar, Olena Dolgikh, Gian Luca Lazzarini, Jaan Männima, Emmanuelle Rizzo, Elisa Storti
